Pennsylvania Reserve Corps
The PA Reserve Corps is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to serving the people of Pennsylvania. We are men and women, military veterans and civilians, skilled professionals and students, who are committed to maintaining, protecting, and improving the well-being of our communities.

What We Do

Our team has three primary focuses: disaster emergency response, health and wellness education, and general community volunteerism. PA Reserve Corps provides support and augments the capacity of local and state emergency responders and federal emergency services in the event of a disaster. PA Reserve Corps also promotes health and wellness through community outreach programs.

The Pennsylvania Reserve Corps is registered with Office of the U.S. Surgeon General's Medical Reserve Corps and FEMA's Fire Corps, and is sponsored by Lancaster County Emergency Management Agency. Join Now

How We Do It

PA Reserve Corps believes that every person has skills and abilities that can make a difference. Members are encouraged to help by participating in ways that interest them. This may involve the utilization of a member's specific skills, or may involve training in fields that match members' new interests. PA Reserve Corps believes that periodic training, and cross-training in other fields is imperative in creating capable and engaged members that want to make a difference. PA Reserve Corps needs you. This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity to serve your community and learn new skills. Every citizen has an obligation to give back to their community and prepare for the unexpected. PA Reserve Corps seeks adults who choose to make difference.

We are especially in need of administrative professionals, medical professionals, military veterans, college students, legal professionals, IT tech and communications, fire, police, EMT, safety, logistics, and PR.

Learn New Skills

Members have many opportunities to learn diverse, exciting, and valuable new skills in the medical field, fire, rescue, security and safety, technology and communications, and other fields. Members will learn from professional in their respective fields. Our teachers are physicians, nurses, EMT's, Fire and police professionals, military veterans, FCC communications operators, and others.

Members learn about disaster response, first aid and emergency medical response, fire safety, search and rescue, law enforcement and homeland security.
